I had so much fun reliving Charlie's newborn days and his first year last week. I'm also attending a dear friends baby shower this weekend. So I have babies and baby products on my mind lately. I thought it would be fun, and hopefully helpful, to share some of my picks for baby essentials for the first year.
An oversized comfy glider for those mid night feedings, a sound machine which Charlie still enjoys listening to at 21 months during his bedtime routine, we love our UppaBaby Vista stroller and especially loved the bassinet when Charlie was a newborn. Aden + Anais blankets which are great for swaddling a newborn and Charlie still loves his "bankies", Little Giraffe blankies are so soft and cozy and easy to throw in a diaper bag. The very popular Sophie the giraffe which is easy enough for your little one to hold on to and makes a great teether. Charlie absolutely loved his My Little Lamb swing, we were able to catch an extra hour or two of sleep daily thanks to his love of this swing. We love our Summer Infant baby monitor which pans the entire room and has a 2-way talk feature. The Puj sink tub was so great for bathing Charlie as a newborn.
These products are all things that we loved, found super helpful, and are in my opinion essential for the newborn days through the first year of your little one's life.
