I love making a trip to the makeup counters to try out new products. But I also tend to gravitate to the same tried and true products that I have used for a long time, like the Chanel eyeshadow quads that I just update with new colors every season. The products pictured above are easy to use and stay on all day long! Who has the time to reapply makeup throughout the day? Not me, especially when I spend most of my day chasing a very busy two year old.
Tip: I love Chanel foundation, and never apply it without use the MAC Duo Fiber Face Brush. By applying makeup with a brush it keeps the oils that are on your hands off of your face. This brush blends your foundation and creates a smooth, even finish.
Tip: The versatile formula of the Chanel Eyeshadow Quad can be applied dry for subtle shadowing (my preferred daytime look) and can be damped for more intense color (my occasional night time look).
Trick: I use the YSL highlighter "gold pen" to brighten up my face, especially when I am tired. Applying underneath your eyes will work like a charm to freshen up your face.
