SUNSHINE

Can you believe it is the start to another week already!?! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend, and got to enjoy some sunshine. There sure was an abundance of sunshine and summer like weather here in Dallas over the weekend. I absolutely love today's outfit! There is just something about the color yellow that instantly makes me happy :-) I tend to gravitate to the color each and every spring. And this yellow Joie top is the perfect addition to my spring wardrobe. But I have to admit that my very favorite part of today's post is the gorgeous blue topaz ring that is a family heirloom. I completely adore family jewelry and the stories and history behind special pieces like this cocktail ring.

You may have also noticed that I yet again changed the name of my blog. I know, I know...I have become a bit obsessed. I thought long and hard about the "perfect" name for my blog before launching my little space of the web, only to quickly learn that many people did not know what a peridot is and that a lot of people were pronouncing it incorrectly. I want a name for my blog that is easy to understand and easy to pronounce. Therefore I made it super simple and changed it to Style Ave., however I quickly felt that it lost it's special touch and no longer represented me in any special way. Again, I know...I am OCD and am completely and totally overthinking it! But I really think Style Dean is easy to pronounce, it incorporates my name, it is unique, and Dean means an authority or guide. I hope that my blog is an inspiration to you and a helpful guide to style for you. Thank you for bearing with me as I work out the "kinks" on the start of my blogging journey! From now Style Dean it is...and no more name changes, just lots of pretty, fun, and inspiring content. Woohoo!

Check back tomorrow to see my spring handbag wish list. Happy Monday sunshines!
